Page navigation bar — In March 2015, we began using a different format for these bars which you see above and below the text of each subsection of Mrs. Egy's book. Instead of listing all the pages we've transcribed so far, we condensed this feature by showing only the page ranges of other subsections, but individual page numbers within this subsection. As time permits, we'll make it standard.

I'm not sure why Mrs. Egy gives this well-known Governor and his son's middle names as Barauch. She spells the father's name correctly on page 19, although she omits his last name there. Also, she gives his birth year +as 1825, while both of his "official" biographies which we quote on our Winans in American History page say 1826.
Why did Mrs. Egy include Colo in the location of George's death? There was a Soldiers Home in Hampton, VA.
We have the 1912 San Francisco obituary of another Henry Winans who was born within a few miles of this Henry, and exactly one year before him. However, the Henry listed above in Mrs. Winans' book appears to have died between the 1880 census, when he was listed in Avon, with his wife and children, and 1900, when his widow was enumerated in Rochester.
Bessie and Anna's birth dates would appear to be mutually exclusive!
This should read Fort Huachuca.
