SAMUEL was b ca 1671 d 27 Sept 1747 md Zerviah, believed to be Stansbury or Stansbrough b 1 Oct 1683 at Long Island, N. Y. d 13 Sept 1737 and is buried beside her husband in Elizabethtown, N. J. Samuel's will dated 13 June 1744 was proved 3 Oct 1747. Samuel was overseer of highways, Elizabethtown, N. J. in 1712. The "Town Book" of 7 June 1735 indicates his name should have been among the Associates List of 1699. Zerviah believed to be the dau of Josiah and Ann Stansbury. Samuel's will lists 8 living children.

of genealogical interest in that it refers to father Samuel and grandfather John.
