Jessamine County.

~1785My 5g-grandparents, James and Elloner Brewster come from Virginia.
1803James and Elloner purchase a farm on the Harrodsburg Pike and move into the log house there.

Madison County.

Madison county once included a very large area of Kentucky and was along the path of many families migrating from the East into Ohio and Indiana. The events listed below may or may not have occurred in present-day Madison.
1780sMy 5g-grandparents, Lawrence and Peggy Woolery, come from Pennsylvania, along with several of their children, including my 4g-grandfather, Michael Woolery, whose 1781 birth could have occurred either here or in PA.
May 1800My 3g-grandmother, Jane Irwin, is born to Samuel and Jannette Irwin.
~1805My 4g-grandparents, John and Mary Seward, and their son Austin come from Virginia to the area near Richmond.
Mar 1805Michael Woolery marries Jane Todd.
Jul 1807My 3g-grandmother, Hannah Woolery, is born to Michael and Jane.
May 1817Austin marries Jane Irvin and they soon move to Bloomington, Indiana.
~1818Michael and Jane Woolery and family move to Lawrence county, Indiana. Lawrence and Peggy and most of their other descendants move to Cooper county, Missouri.
