Once again, we remember Christmases past and present. One of the fondest memories of many of us is going to grandma and grandpa Walker's home on Christmas day. There were always at least thirty people on hand, plus food and presents galore. Here's a photo which I'm guessing was taken Christmas day, 1952, although I could be off by a year or two. From left to right are uncle Harry Michelsen, my mother, me, uncle Frank Walker and grandma. We all seem to be very intent on piling as much food as possible on our plates.
Christmas morning 2002, we gather at David George Carey's home, where you see me getting ready to dig into our traditional Christmas tamales.
After brunch, we adjourn to Dave's living room to open presents. Here are Lauralyn, Andy and Neil, and Paul, Marci and Cole with just a few of their presents.
We wish all our family and friends a warm, peaceful and blessed Christmas season.
