Once again, we remember Christmases past and present. In 1906, my great-grandfather John Wesley Walker and his wife Sarah boarded a train in Bloomington, Indiana, and traveled three or four days to Tucson, in the Arizona Territory, for Christmas. Wesley, who was 64 years old at the time, had his picture taken with his first grandson, Frank Seward Walker, who was 14 months old, in front of Frank's home...
Christmas morning 2001, Charles Warren Carey and his wife Jeanette got in their car and drove a few minutes from Anaheim to Orange to watch their first grandson open his presents. Here is Chuck, also 64 years old, with Cole Walker Carey, who is 19 months old, in front of Cole's home.
We wish all our family and friends a warm, peaceful and blessed Christmas season.
