ca 1900		Walter's grandparents, John L. and Lucinda Perry, move to
		Olinda, CA.  Most, if not all, of their children either come
		with them or arrive in So Cal soon afterwards.

1901
 2/21	FUMC	Walter's Aunt Anna Perry marries Walter Ford, an Olinda oil
		field worker, in Fullerton.

1902
Spring	HT	Frank & Minnie Johnson and children move to Olinda.
	R3	Walter was enrolled in Olinda School, where Carbon Canyon
		Regional Park is today.  Took up baseball.

1903
Nov	FT	Walter spends Thanksgiving at his aunt and uncle's home in Brea
		Canyon (Anna and Walter Ford).
Nov	FT	The baseball park in Anaheim where the Olinda team is to play
		is built, near the Southern Pacific uptown depot.  Its grand
		stand will seat over 500 persons.

		The article doesn't mention the number of strikeouts, but says
		the visitors' battery was responsible for 32 of the 45 POs and
		that Johnson allowed 7 H & 4 BB.  It has Coleman allowing 3 H.
	R2	According to Walter's memoirs (WHAT MEMOIRS?!), he was a
		catcher at FHS in his freshman year until their pitcher
		got badly beaten by SAHS.
	R3	Was put in as pitcher halfway thru a game, got beat 21-0,
		then the next Sat, pitched 0-0 game vs SAHS.  This article
		has him as 16 years old at the time.  "Quit after freshman
		year and enrolled in SA Business Coll".

		after a week or so on the team.
