Cole Carey sayings

Our grandson Cole started writing and saying some interesting stuff around the time he turned eleven years old. We'll include a sampling of his thought in this page...

2011-07-06. Marci tells us that, as they were passing a cemetery on the way to Cole's swim lessons, Cole said, shrugging his shoulders:

I don't want to be buried. Just burn me up and throw my ashes out over the Great Coral Reefs or something. Use my body to help the environment. I won't be needing it anymore.

2011-07-05. Cole's mom Marci says there was no occasion for Cole to write this, he just walked up and handed it to her one evening:

Friendship may be lost, but family lives.
Peace may be destroyed, but hope never lost.
The Demons of Greed, Death, Stress may come,
But Family will always live under the Nature of the Soul.
